As in previous editions of chor.com, masterclasses with top-class master teachers on different focuses are also in the program of 2026. Participants of the masterclasses have the opportunity to devote themselves to a topic in more depth in several course units. Passive participation is possible for chor.com participants in all public sessions (subject to availability).

This chor.com-masterclass in choral conducting with Florian Helgath covers various aspects of working with choirs. The focus is on developing and refining conducting skills, gestures and rehearsal techniques using a variety of works from the Romantic to the Modern periods.

Under the direction of Yuval Weinberg, this four-day choral conducting masterclass as part of chor.com 2026 offers choir directors the opportunity to develop the conducting skills in all aspects, improve body language, solve rhythmical problems, create a tone controlled technique, show dynamical differences, pronunciation, intonation and interpretation. Furthermore, new and interesting repertoire will be introduced.

MASTERCLASS WITH ANNE KOHLER, TINE FRIS-RONSFELD AND POP-UP
Under the direction of Anne Kohler and Tine Fris-Ronsfeld, the four-day chor.com-masterclass in choral conducting offers choir directors the opportunity to individually develop their skills in the areas of conducting, rehearsal methodology, stylistics and presence in front of the ensemble. The focus is on timing, sound, phrasing, balance, and gestural and verbal communication.
