What makes a Christmas concert memorable? In this session, Jan Schumacher explores the art of festive programming. Celebrating the launch of “Weihnachts Carols for Choirs”, a carol collection with favourite pieces from Oxford University Press presented in German for the first time, this session offers inspiration for building a varied seasonal repertoire. From timeless classics to fresh contemporary gems, the aim is to send participants home brimming with ideas for their Christmas concert. In this Reading Session, participants will learn more about the collection, sing a number of selected works and discuss Christmas programming with Jan Schumacher.
