Fokus "Building Bridges" |
The lush harmonies and the expressive depth of the Flemish Romantic choral tradition are at the center of this reading session by Koen Vits. With a nod to chor.com’s focus “building bridges”, the session explores how composers such as Jules Van Nuffel, Gaston Feremans, August De Boeck, Emile Wambach, Marinus De Jong, Staf Nees, Flor Peeters, P.H. Servaes and Jules Vyverman shaped a uniquely Belgian sound – rooted in European Romanticism yet coloured by their own language and spirit. Participants are invited to enjoy the musical craftsmanship and the timelessness of the choral masterpieces.
In cooperation with Euprint.
